Description of the problem	I have a 2006 nissan murano and for the past several months the driver side "sun visor" has failed to stay in the up position. This is a serious safety issue as while driving the visor drops down and obstructs the view of the driver! I have been to the dealer and was told that this was a systemic issue on all nissan murano's and that they have had literally hundreds of complaints. They told me that it was not under warranty and "should have been a recall item" due to the serious safety risk! They were sympathetic to the issue but unwilling to replace the visor without charge for the part and labor! I have researched this issue and found thousands of complaints related to this visor issue and nothing has been done to fix the problem! Since seeing the dealer my daughter had an accident due to the visor dropping into her line of sight causing her to hit the back of another vehicle while approaching an intersection.
