| Description of the problem | I own a 2006 nissan murano that has a defective part in the driver's side visor causing it to fall in the driver's face. The only way to fix is to use velcro or hold up with one hand while driving. This is dangerous as the velcro is only a temporary fix as it is not strong enough to hold up the heavy visor and continually falls in the face of the driver. The visor malfunction started happening around 50k miles and is not covered under nissan's warranty. The visor can be replaced, but at a cost of near $500. I feel that this defect in the visor should be covered by nissan as it is a safety hazard while driving. I believe this to be a widespread problem as i have read similar complaints on nissan auto forums. |
