Description of the problemDriver's-side visor suddenly became unable to stay at a secure angle, which causes a recurring visibility problem. It no longer stays at a secure position if it is not flipped up flat against the headliner. This precludes using it as intended to block sun from shining directly into driver's eyes. If not flat against the headliner, it only hangs straight down and completely blocks line-of-sight while driving, regardless of whether the visor's end is secured or not in its clip. To avoid sun shining directly and unsafely into eyes, it's necessary to hold the visor at necessary angle with one hand, leaving only one hand on the steering wheel. It may sound like a minor problem - - until you regularly experience having to make a choice between being literally blinded by the sun while driving or having to use one hand to hold the visor up. It is no longer covered by my now-expired 36 mo/3 yr warranty. Dealers estimate to repair: $400. 00.
