| Description of the problem | 2006 nissan murano has sun visors (driver and passenger sides) that drop down unexpectedly while car is moving. After much online research, it appears this is an ongoing problem with this vehicle and previous years' models as well. It is a safety hazard due to the fact that you never know when it will fall down and block the driver's vision. The cost to have this repaired at the nissan dealership is approximately $500. This is an excessive amount especially since the failure is caused by a small plastic piece that wears down from use. Nissan has had plenty of time and opportunities over the years to correct this problem, but the company hasn't done so. My family will never purchase another nissan because of this issue with the sun visors. |
