Description of the problem	Tlthe contact owns a 2006 nissan murano. The contact experienced issues with the steering in his vehicle. The steering wheel continued to lock when the vehicle was started. The contact had to exert great force in order to turn the steering wheel. The vehicle was towed to the dealer and they stated that in order to prevent the steering wheel from locking, both the front and rear wheels needed to be parallel to each other and the steering wheel needed to be in a horizontal position. The vin was not accepted by the system. The current and failure mileages were less than 42,000.
