Description of the problem	2006 nissan murano; high pressure power steering line failed at 36344 miles. Caused temporary loss of control of vehicle, and fluids to leak from vehicle. Dozens of other similar failures documented on various website and nissan blogs. No recall to date, however this seems to have been a common problem since the 2004 model year. Vehicle is driven under normal conditions, and on average less than 20 miles per day/500 miles per week. To date, nissan, and it's local dealership have refused to make this repair to the vehicle, as it was a mere 344 miles past the warranty expiration. Estimated cost to make necessary repairs is $800 to $1000.
