Description of the problem	When my wife was driving the vehicle she heard a loud pop and suddenly the seat fell to the left again the drivers side door. She almost lost control of the vehicle and had to pull to the side of the road. When she got out of the car to see what happened she noticed that the seat was very unstable and when pushed to the center of the car with one finger was no longer attached to the floor of the car. When i was called to inspect the vehicle i found that the frame of the drivers side seat had sheared into two pieces and in fact she was right. The seat was no longer attached to the floor on the left side of the seat. I looked this up on the web and there are hundreds of complaints about this same thing happening to other americans who bought this car. Note: this car is a 2006 but, my wife only drives it on the weekends and the car has very low mileage as indicated above. This is a very bad safety issue as the seat could now break loose on the other side and the whole seat could wind up falling into the rear seat area. This would definitely cause a loss of control of the vehicle when the steering wheel would be ripped out of the drivers hands and their feet would be pulled away from the gas and the brake pedals.
