Description of the problemThere is a known fact that the drivers sear on the nissan murano (2006-2011) has an issue where the drivers seat was poorly constructed and the seat frame snaps around 80,000 miles. My seat broke while driving at about 50 mph down the street, almost making my wife crash the car. I have contacted nissan, and they offered to pay 50% of the $1600 repair. Not fair to me at all. I have escalated the matter to the regional team, and they offered no more help at all. Reading other customer complaints on the internet, it appears that nissan isn't admitting to the poor construction of the seat, but has since changed the construction of the seat in recent models to a better construction of the frame where it should not break. This same complaint is all over the internet; several videos have been posted in regards to exact same claims.
