Description of the problem	While driving on interstate at 70 mph, in the left lane of a 6 lane highway my driver's seat suddenly buckled, snapped, and dropped towards the door. I immediately panicked, afraid to take my eyes off the road i began working my way to the extreme right lane to pull over and see what had just happened. With no prior indications of any problems my sit just suddenly broke and i was leaning on the driver's door while driving. When i took my car to my nissan dealer i was told there were no recalls for this matter, later i learned this to be a common nissan problem. I was charged $149. 00 for part and $272. 14 for labor to have 87473-ca01a :link assy-rr li installed. Since this repair the bottom seat molding is now hanging off my seat, i have been told i need to purchase a new seat frame also!.
