Description of the problem	Vehicle was traveling at approx. 30 mph when the front driver's seat gave way causing the driver to lean to the left hitting the left front door. Driver was able to maintain control of said vehicle but became alarmed at the sudden nature of the event. It appears that a bracket supporting the seat broke. Internet research and discussions with nissan customer service (local facility) is very aware of the seat problem. There have been numerous reports of failed brackets with the 2003-2009 murano. To date, i believe there have been no fatalities caused by the sudden breakage, but in i my humble opinion, it is just a matter of time. I am stunned that there has not been a recall. Nissan should take the initiative and be proactive and have said vehicles fixed.
