Description of the problem	I had just stopped my vehicle and opened the driver's door, to exit. As i began to exit, the back left corner of the driver's seat collapsed. I removed the seat control panel and observed the metal seat frame had broken. Note: this is the second time, in the exact same location, this has happened in the past 4 months. The first time the nissan dealer where i purchased the car offered to weld it for just under $500. 00 dollars or replace the frame for just over $1300. 00 dollars. Additionally, i purchased a "certification" with the vehicle when i bought it used (2009 with 7900 miles) and the certification, although still active, does not cover this part. If i had purchased a "gold" certification, it would have be covered. I opted to go to a local, full service auto body shop where it was welded for $150. 00. I re-contacted the same local nissan dealer again and they offered to research the incident and attempt to help. Two days later i was contacted and told that the local nissan consumer affairs representative denied covering any part of the repair. The nissan store then offered to pay 50% of the replacement cost citing my customer loyalty (purchasing 5 cars from them an another 3 from their group).
