| Description of the problem | Front driver's side seat broke. It would lift on back left side. We noticed seat rocking from side to side. We thought maybe a bolt had broken? I took the car in to the dealership and they said the frame is bent/broken? And whole seat has to be replaced for $900. Looking online it appears this happens quite frequently on nissan muranos. At that price i would chose to not replace the seat if i wasn't afraid that the seat will come off completely, sending me through the windshield. I am having it replaced next wed. I am disappointed in hearing that nissan is aware of this issue and hasn't issued a recall, they have only issued a service bulletin. It seems like a clear safety hazard and request it be looked into further. Thank you |
