Description of the problem	While driving down a residential street i heard a noise like something had cracked, and felt the driver's seat move. After pulling over, i noticed that the seat could be rocked back and forth by hand - it was no longer stable. Upon further inspection, i found that the back left part of the seat bracket had failed. I was later told by the dealer that this was not covered under warranty and that the only solution available was to replace the entire seat, which was going to cost over $1,000. Either the bracket or the assembly (welding) of it appear to be defective. This is a significant safety issue, because having a seat break while driving could cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
