| Description of the problem | The drivers' seat in our 2006 nissan murano came un-welded. This failure was not due to any out of the ordinary use as this vehicle is a daily driver. We had approximately 80k miles on the car when suddenly our seat started to rock back and forth in a caddy corner motion. Dealer said he had seen about 60 of these in the last few months and offered no complimentary part for replacement. We purchased the 100k mile extended warranty so we only had to pay $50. 00 to have it fixed. Seriously though, a seat coming un-welded? Makes my stomach sick to know that this is still an issue as well as the thought of what if... Please look into this issue and make nissan correct this issue with an otherwise trouble-free car. |
