| Description of the problem | Driving my 2006 murano when suddenly the seat lurched down to the left after a loud snap. Dealer said my seat frame had a broken weld, and a needed replacement would cost $1,150. 00., even though this is obviously is a safety issue, especially when making a turn. I paid for the seat, and immediately decided to sell the car, even though it only had 63,000 miles and it was always well maintained. I am not an usually large man, 225 lbs. Nissan needs to address this failure, and reimburse owners for poor safety design. |
