| Description of the problem | My wife was driving our 2006 nissan murano when she swerved to avoid hitting a deer. The driver seat, which wobbles, leaned freely to the right and caused my wife to lose control of the vehicle and go into the ditch. Luckily, she was not injured and the car was able to be driven out of the ditch. This issue with the seat has been well known and documented as a severe safety hazard yet nothing has been done about it. The seat now constantly wobbles and leans forward and to the right when making a left turn. It makes the vehicle feel very unstable and unsafe. The local nissan dealer said a new bracket would need to be installed, which will cost approximately $1000. |
