| Description of the problem | I was driving my 2006 nissan murano s awd (bought new in january 2006) when the driver's seat snapped to the rear left nearing causing an accident on the highway. There is a tsb on this problem and i have become a member of a large group that can expect the seat frame to break every 2 to 3 years. It seems that nissan has a design problem that needs to be addressed, but not at my expense or life. This should be viewed as an extreme safety issue. The dealer fix is over $1000 since there is no safety recall at this time. |
