Description of the problem	I had a failure of the drivers seat in my 2006 nissan murano. After checking with the parts department at my local nissan dealer (olathe nissan) i found the part broken was part number 87450+a. Replacement of that portion of my seat will result in a cost of approximately $650. 00 parts, plus labor for installation. I'm still within the 3 year warranty period, but over the 35k mile and was told this would not be covered under warranty. There is a tsb on this problem and seems as i have become a member of a large group that can expect the potential for having this repair every 2 to 3 years. It seems that nissan has a design problem that needs to be addressed, but not at my expense life or money. This should be viewed as an extreme safety issue, as it broke when i was driving making it very difficult to drive!
