Description of the problem	Driving on i95 and hear a pop and the driver's seat shifted about 5 degrees to the left and the back left corner dropped. When i turned to the right, it felt like the left side of the seat would raise up then drop back down as i completed the turn. I took the car to the bel air (md) nissan dealership the following monday. They found the driver side seat bottom weld had broken causing the seat fame to bend and slit. They installed gusset and welded. Cost $757. 08. I contacted nissan customer service telling nissan i thought this was a safety issue and the seat frame on an 8 year old car with less than 81,000 miles should not break unless it was under designed or was defectively made. Nissan assigned a case number of 16837975 and said they would get back to me. They got back to me on 12/17/2014 stating nissan would not reimburse the cost and nissan was not responsible because of the infrequent of occurrence but would not tell me the number of occurrences.
