| Description of the problem | Wile driving casually, the seat felt like dislocating off it's track and leaned forward and to the right. I pulled over when possible and observed that the seat is loose on its rear left side and rocks freely towards the front. Electrically it functioned as usual. My garage mechanic (not a nissan dealership!) checked it and found out the metal frame of the seat is broken. He warned me of keeping driving it and said he could not fix it but will look for a body shop or some one who will. I went online to research it and learned that this is a common well-known safety violation by the manufacture, which unfortunately, or in a unexplained other reason, was never recognized as an official safety recall. I want to add my voice so it will be taken care off. Before more people will be hurt. |
