| Description of the problem | While i was driving my 2006 nissan murano there was a big snapping sound and the seat slumped to the rear left. When i make left turns the seat swings up. It was difficult to stay seated in the proper position to correctly handle the vehicle. I have not taken it to be repaired yet but it is apparent something broke on the rear left side of the chair frame. Considering the amount of complaints i have seen from others with this same issue i think it is a disgrace nissan has not initiated a recall on this problem. It certainly has the potential of causing a major safety incident. Fortunately i was able to keep the vehicle under control when it snapped. This vehicle is my first attempt at a nissan but the lack of customer care for such a chronic problem says a great deal about the company. |
