Description of the problem	I was driving on a neighborhood road and all of a sudden the bracket holding the drivers seat in place broke on the right side. It required me to hold onto the steering wheel to stay straight up to drive. I could feel only one side was broken and was concerned that the other side might break. I contacted nissan repair and they said yes this happens frequently on muranos and stated the repair would run around $2000. I took my car to a local repair shop, they too stated they were aware this happens with the murano and i was able to get it fixed for $500. It was a very dangerous situation, luckily i was close to home and not traveling on the freeway or long distance. This problem needs to be on a re-call. Updated 4/24/2015 *js
