| Description of the problem | Purchased my nissan murano 2006 in sept 2009. Today, while sitting in mall parking lot, i heard a loud sound and the driver's front seat dropped to the left. Unsure what had happened, i began to drive off and my seat began to shift left and right. Could not stabilize at all! Very very unsafe drive home!! This is indeed a safety hazard. I cannot drive my vehicle the way it is now. Cannot begin to afford what dealer is asking for repair. What am i to do? The reviews indicate i am not alone on this crucial issue. Nissan should be required to help the murano owners out. That obviously is a faulty part and the consumer should not be left holding the bag! Please provide a remedy for this.
