| Description of the problem | Bought car used in may 2013. August 14 got into car in morning for work and seat felt wobbly. When i left work and got into car seat leaned back and towards drivers door. Immediately drove to mechanics shop and was then told the seat support had broken again. Had been welded once before and weld broke. When looking for a replacement seat read that this has happened so many times that nissan had made a replacement part that was a solid piece of metal that corrected the "y" shaped bracket that has broken repeatedly on many cars usually @ 75,000 miles. Nissan did not give this piece to the muranos owners, instead sold it to them. Furious and disappointed with nissan for not having a recall. People could die if they were driving on the highway and this happened. |
