| Description of the problem | Recently my 2006 nissan murano started making grinding noises when going up hills and turning corners. After taking it to a few shops who said it might be the cvt transmission that was covered under an extended warranty since so many people have had issues, i went and took it to the dealer. Their diagnosis was a electronic coupler assembly failure which has to do with my rear differential. The car is not balancing the load properly and the transmission is slipping. There is a 2 month waiting list for this part because it has gone bad in so many nissan vehicles. Yet there has been no recall and no extended warranty put on it. The vehicle is said to be relatively unsafe to drive but they are months out on getting parts in for it to be fixed. *js |
