Description of the problem	2006 nissan murano now with 45000 miles on it. Since less than 5k mi, the car does 2 things that may be in relation to each other: 1) when driving at constant speed on flat road between 40 & 70+ mph, the rpm's will jump up 500-1000rpms for a brief moment- almost feels and sounds like the engine is slipping out of gear and then back in. Or could be that it detects a slight pressure on pedal (linkage/sender whatever) and downshifts then jumps back down? It does this with cruise control on as well. 2) also, acceleration is sluggish when leisurely proceeding from a stop, or very slow speed (say making a 90 degree turn from a stop of slow pace). While pushing on pedal, rpms and engine will actually decrease to about 1000-1500rps causing car to lag (big safety issue for i have almost been hit by other cars due to this). Does not do if i do a hard accelerate (but i don't drive that way... Jack rabbit starts). Dealership confirmed #1 and replaced tranny. Still did it both problems. Dealership replaced computer for tranny. Still does both, but #1 does not happen as often (used to happen 3+ times in a 15 minute period of less, not does 1-3x per hour maybe- i have stopped tracking). I let the dealership know when i bring for service, but i give up- car is out of warranty now. I'll return the lease. Too bad- love the car, just feel there is something very wrong that they weren't able to find. I have found other reports of same like problems.
