Description of the problem	Fuel level sensor circuit, fuel tank assembly, fuel level circuit sensor high input car will not pass emissions testing nissan usa does not respond to phone calls or call back regarding request for recall. This item was recalled on several other nissan's , but not the murano. Nissan states emissions control warranty on fuel systems is only for 3 years and my time is over since the car is now 5 years old . Since july of 2010 67,000 miles the tank has been telling me i am empty when i reach half a tank of gas the car thinks its empty, i had no intention of fixing it since i know how much gas is in the car but now that it won't pass emissions testing, i test every 2 years and sept 15, 2011 car went in for testing and failed due to this fuel problem, due to cost to fix, i have dealt with poor fuel economy and fuel sensor/gauge malfunction but now i can't put my car on the road anymore due to not passing emissions and not being able to renew my license plates.
