| Description of the problem | Sun visor in 2005 nissan murano with 55k miles doesn't stay up all of a sudden. This started happening for no apparent reason. It's loose when in the up position, and if the car hits a bump, it falls in front of the driver. It is difficult to drive with it down all the time, and quite dangerous when it's up and all of a sudden falls when driving. It costs $375 for a replacement visor. Both the local nissan dealer and the corporation refused to assist with the cost of the part, and this is a problem that, according to internet research (and the local dealer's own admission), numerous other people have encountered. This issue poses a serious safety hazard, yet is cost-prohibitive to have fixed. |
