Description of the problem	My driver's side sun visor would not remain in the up position. When vehicle went in @ 30 days or so, i reported this with some other minor needed repairs. It was the dealership on pearl rd., route 42 in brunswick that also handled subaru's. It was originally a leased vehicle under allied leasing. I reported problem again at approximately 24 months. Then - i reported it again when car went in for service in january of 2011. Visor no longer adjustable - won't remain in up position - flops down in front of your eye blocking vision constantly. Replacement estimate from dealer $300-$400 for part even if we install ourselves! Important - repeating problem back to 1996 sentras. Many complaints found on the internet! Nissan refused to repair under warranty as well as post warranty! You are either trying to see underneath it... Swing it to the side out of the way - but then your eyes have no protection against blinding sunlight! Not only dangerous - but uncomfortable and inconvenient. I would have no problem paying if visor was reasonably priced - but nissan prices it obscenely!
