Description of the problem	2005 murano purchased 6 yrs ago has 67,000 mi on it. Have never had a problem previously but has started burning oil. Have kept up on regular maintenance but was lax this time. Car went 5,000 mi before having a problem with smoke from exhaust and pinging noise. Took to mechanic and was told that the oil was 3 1/2 qts low. My mechanic thinks i might need to rebuild the engine or buy new. He will check it in a week to see if it
