Description of the problem	I have a 2005 nissan murano that has had issues with the driver's side seat. There is a metal bar under the seat that breaks. Evidently this is a problem with many other owners of this year of vehicle and it doesn't make much sense that this is not part of a recall yet. This is very dangerous to be driving around with. I worked with my local nissan dealership and they have had several customers with this same problem and they charge close to $1000 to repair. I have gone directly to nissan to see if this would be something they would help cover the costs on since it is obviously a manufacturer defect, and one that has now been corrected on newer models, but they will not assist at all with the main reason being that i'm outside of my warranty. I'm very frustrated because i have taken great care of my vehicle. It currently only has about 65,000 miles on it. I am not an overweight person so that is not a contributing factor to this problem. I feel that if i were in a motor vehicle accident with my broken seat that would be extremely dangerous and maybe at that point nissan would issue a recall on this problem but until that time their customers are left to pay $1000 in repairs for a faulty part on their vehicle that they're clearly aware of. I'm hoping you can help rectify this problem with nissan. Thank you for your time.
