Description of the problem	I purchased my murano in jan 2013, the incident occurred in march 2013. My husband and i were driving last sunday. As he was approaching a stop sign we heard a loud 'pop' under the driver's seat, we thought it was a spring or something. Upon getting home he discovered that the rear left bracket of the driver's seat had broken. I took it to the dealership the next morning and they told me to call nissan north america (800-nissan-1). I filed a claim and they called me back to inform me that they would be unable to replace the seat frame because the car is beyond factory warranty. The dealership quoted me $1000 to replace the broken bar. I bought the murano when i was 9 months pregnant, in fact, i had my son a week after buying the vehicle. My husband wanted me to be in a bigger car, a safer car for me and my newborn. I'm upset that the seat broke, in my mind there are two things in a car that should never break: the seats and the seatbelts, but i'm disappointed that nissan is not taking care of their customers and fixing the problem. Since this happened i have researched the broken seat and there are entire forums devoted to this incident! I've been a nissan driver for nearly 10 years, this will be the last make of their car that i purchase.
