Description of the problem	Brackets under drivers side seat had snapped, seat is no longer attached properly. Major safety issues. Apparently a known issue with this vehicle model years 2003-2007 that was later corrected, yet nissan will not produce a recall or cover the costs unless in your warranty period. The new part, is made completely different and is steel, so obviously they know there is an issue but are choosing to do nothing about it. Dealer wants to charge over $1000 for this repair. Again a major safety issue & in doing research is happening to people all over the world. Something should be done. I contacted nissan for a good will repair but it is under investigation, in the meantime, i drive around risking my life. Because of the safety concern, no one else seems to want to fix it. Previous safety bulletin issued by nissan is ntb05-043d. No recall to date.
