Description of the problem	I own a 2005 nissan murano se. As i was going 60 mph in the fast lane down the highway, the seat snapped ,tilted to the left then lurched backward becoming unstable. I almost loss control of the car and injured my back. I had to pull over to the side of the road and the bar that is in the lower bottom of the seat bracket broke off and the screw that anchors the seat to the floor became unstable. I had to find a way to secure the seat to ride home and lucky me had some patio bricks in the back which are now holding this seat up otherwise it will collapse. I called nissan headquarters and they will not help me and they do not care. The dealer wants $1,800 to fix which i could put down for another car because i will never buy a nissan again. Also , the door handles have broke ,the differential and a long list of many things with this car. I take care of my car but this model is a nightmare. They could offer something of a discount but too greedy. I could of loss my life with this car but i am lucky to be an older driver and experienced. The seat has no support and will fall over backward. There should be a solution the bracket that holds the support bar is thinner than a dime and is a manufacturing defect. This could of happened at any time depending on the type of highway you travel no matter the mileage or the age of the vehicle. The driver's seat is a safety issue not like the passenger seat.
