Description of the problem	Totally unexpectedly, the driver's seat tilted backwards all of a sudden, almost causing an accident as i lost control for a while. I took the car to the garage after wedging the seat stationary with blocks of wood. The mechanic said the weld on the seat bracket broke and that it was my responsibility to fix at a cost of $1100. Despite repeated attempts to get nissan to repair what was clearly a faulty design that caused metal fatigue, the seat still has not been repaired. I went on the internet to see if anyone else has had this problem and found in a short time about 200 instances of this bracket breaking in this same spot. This car has only about 38,000 miles and has only been driven by myself.
