Description of the problem	About a week ago i sat down in my 2005 nissan murano and heard a crack and the seat began to rock. I looked under the back of the seat and noticed the seat riser had broken. This surprised me as i am not a heavy guy, i weigh 200 pounds. The seat hasn't seen any damage out of the ordinary wear and tear, and the car has never been in an accident either. I figured it was just a single defect and took it to my dealer to get it fixed. They told me it was going to cost just over $1000 to replace the bracket. They also told me every single murano they have sold has this problem. I got online to see if i could find someone to fix it cheaper and found out not only have many people had there seat break, but in the exact same place. At this point i think this is a safety issue and nissan needs to right it. I can't imagine the outcome for someone if one of these seats break during an accident. Nissan needs to make a bracket with thicker metal and replace all these faulty ones before somebody gets seriously injured because of it.
