| Description of the problem | The drivers seat on my 2005 nissan murano s is defective. The frame under the seat that holds the seat to the chassis of the vehicle somehow broke off at one of the corners. When sitting in the seat, the seat rocks side to side. I've owned the vehicle since october 2007, and the problem arose about 6 months after owning the vehicle. This issue is very worrying because it feels as if the seat is not held on properly, and feels as if the seat is going to completely come off the frame. I contacted nissan and i was told that the issue will cost about $1,000 to repair because its not covered by nissan. This problem needs to become a recall because the problem seems to affect thousands of nissan murano owners. The problem has gotten worse and worse as time has passed. |
