| Description of the problem | When leaving an intersection, the rear seat bracket snapped, leaving the seat sagging and flopping with the movement of the vehicle. Took vehicle to local dealership. Service advisor seemed to minimize the seriousness of the damage. Claim he was not aware of similar incidences. A simple internet search revealed a pattern of this issue with this specific vehicle. Nissan has agreed to pay a portion of the repair, but claims the damage is outside warranty. Car seats should not break under normal use, and nissan needs to formalize a recall. This is another complaint related to nhtsa action # pe05050. |
