| Description of the problem | Our 2005 nissan murano with just over 44k miles has a broken driver's seat frame. We have not had any accidents and consider our use to have been normal. I am 200 lbs and my wife is significantly less and she is the main driver of the vehicle. The seat actually broke while my wife was getting in, not while driving. It appears to be the where the back left support connects. The seat still has normal electronic functions but now, the seat is not steady while driving. On right turns, the seat move up and to the right. It then settles back into position when the car returns to straight. The seat will require maintenance as i don't consider it to be safe. It seems part failure on a part that should be extremely durable. |
