| Description of the problem | One of the four mounting points on the driver seat of my 2005 nissan murano has failed. The rear-outboard mount has cracked and broke in two pieces. The driver seat is no longer safely secured to the body of the car. Numerous members of the nissanmurano. Org website have reported this very same problem. The dealers have refused to address the problem and are asking for just over $1,000 to fix it. The consumer stated the seat anchor was broken. Updated 05/20/09.*jb |
