| Description of the problem | I own a 2005 nissan murano sl awd and earlier this year the drivers seat has started to rock back and forth. My wife is 5'2 and i am 6'2 so there is a need to move the power seat regularly. The seat now sits slightly left to right or right to left. The nissan murano forum has indicated that this has been a problem from the 2003 edition and still continues to be. My car is out of warranty so it would be a $1000 repair out of pocket. This is an unsafe situation and apparently caused by the seat base metal breaking. There are great pictures of this on the forum site. Nissan hasn't recalled this and it is obviously a safety concern. |
