| Description of the problem | The front drivers door failed.. More specifically, when the lock system is activated electronically, the doors typically fail to completely lock or unlock completely. Visually, the inside lock 'button' only moves partway. There is reason to believe this affects many owners of nissan and infinity vehicles. Some suspect actuator problems and others suspect relay problems. There is an investigation into a class action law suit and there's petitions. The manufacturer doesn't want to claim responsibility and this problem is affecting thousands of owners. This problem has safety implication and can create potentially life threatening situations. I advice that this problem be taken seriously and make the manufacturers accountable for these defects. Thank you |
