Description of the problem	2005 nissan murano - mechanisms controlling the doors do not function properly. I cannot even open the door manually, it does not work. The trunk is also broken, i cannot open this either. This is definitely a safety issue. If i have a flat tire, i cannot get to the spare tire because i cannot open the trunk. My brother has the same car and model/year, his car locks has the same problem. My coworker has a 2004 and her locks does not work either. I was informed by my mechanic that nissan knows about this but will not address the issue. Often times, the door failures happen after the warranty expires; therefore the owners have to pay out of pocket for the expenses.
