Description of the problem	In march 2013, a nissan dealership replaced the fuel sensors and a related amplifier because the "service engine soon" went on and the diagnostic codes specified a fuel sensor problem (i paid between $1000-1500). About a year later, the fuel sensor light went on again, the fuel gauge intermittently shows empty even when the tank is more than one-half full, and the "miles to empty" gauge periodically goes to zero and then rebounds to the substantial number of miles left. The nissan dealer states that the diagnostic code shows a problem in a "past cycle" and they do not have an onboard diagnostic tool. I'm unsure what's going to happen next -- but it sounds to me like there should have been a recall (other nissan models had recalls because of fuel sensor problems).
