Description of the problem	2005 nissan murano - 66k miles. Alternator tension arm snapped off while driving, also causing a crack in the timing cover. There had been a squeaking noise in the days leading up the failure. Once the arm broke there was a very loud clunking noise. I was forced to pull over on the side of the road and wait for a tow. The tension arm, bracket, belts and timing cover need to be replaced. Because the timing covers placement, it will require pulling the engine out.
