| Description of the problem | My 2005 nissan murano has an engine that "pings" even when using 91 octane fuel. This can lead to engine wear and damage. Nissan is aware of the problem, but at this time, they are choosing not to correct it in any of the murano vehicles that have this problem. The problem is a constant "ping" upon acceleration, most noticeable between 10 and 30 miles per hour, or at higher speeds when attempting to quickly increase speed. |
