| Description of the problem | Drivers side sunvisor on a 2004 nissan murano while driving the vehicle, the sunvisor falls from its upright position to the down position, thus blocking the driver's field of view, causing a major safety concern. Nissan has issued a service bulletin (#03-081a) covering these visors, which shows that they are aware of the problem. However, they will not stand behind their product to remedy this situation without charging the consumer in excess of $400 - $500 to repair it. There has not been a wreck yet, but its only a matter of time when the driver cannot see. We have been to the service dept on numerous occasions, but they will not fix the problem. This problem happens constantly while driving. |
