| Description of the problem | The passenger side sun visor on my 2004 nissan murano falls down unexpectedly while driving. This is happening at least twice a day now. I checked with the dealer and they said it is not covered under my extended warranty. It is very expensive to replace and after looking in the nissan forum it seems that this is a widespread problem. Most consider it to be a safety issue. The visor does not drop completely but at an angle even with the passengers forehead. In the event of a collision a passenger's forehead would hit the edge of the visor causing a head injury and possible death. |
