| Description of the problem | I have a 2004 nissan murano se. At approximately 50,000 miles, the drivers' side sun visor had some sort of internal mechanical failure which makes it fall down in front of my face while driving. My extended warranty company refuses to fix it, claiming it is a "trim" item, and the dealership claims it is no longer their problem as the car isn't under warranty. However, it seems to me that this is a safety item, since every time it falls down, it obscures my view of the roadway. When i searched online, i found many other nissan murano owners on online forums complaining of the same issue with their 2003 through 2006 muranos with relatively low mileage failures of this particular part. |
