Description of the problem	Transfer case in murano '04- we recently had a new transfer case put in our murano as it was deemed out of warranty. It is evident that exact problem has happened to many owners regarding the same part in murano's nationwide. While nissan north america has issued extended warranties to all their cvt driven vehicles, they have come short in covering this component which is a mechanical part to cvt transmission. The cost for our repair was over $3000. Needless to say this causes a major safety concern since the vehicle tends to stall and can become inoperable at any speed. Updated ivoq 05/26/10
